- Donuts:
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 113 grams sugar
- 4 tbsp butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 15 ml milk
- Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
- 3 tbsp butter, melted and cooled slightly
- 56.7 grams sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare Mini Donut Pan with baking spray containing flour and use a pastry brush to evenly coat the donut cavities. In small bowl combine flour, baking powder, spices and salt. Set aside.
2. Using a mixer with a paddle attachment, mix egg and sugar together.
3. Blend in melted butter and vanilla thoroughly. Add half of the flour and stir. Then add the milk followed by the other half of the flour mixture until smooth.
4. For ease, place batter in pastry bag and pipe batter evenly into prepared pan or spoon in using a teaspoon.
5. Bake 12-14 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted into center of donuts.
6. Cool donuts in pan for about 5 minutes and invert onto a cooling rack.
